What is the difference between rutile sand and rutile flour?
They are the same mineral, rutile (TiO₂), and share the same CAS number: what changes is the particle size. The sand is the granular, free-flowing material, suitable when the customer’s process includes its own grinding stage. The flour is already ground and can be added directly to a composition. The choice depends on where the raw material enters the process.
