Uses and Applications
The 99.9% zinc oxide we manufacture is used as a raw material for a wide range of sectors: from ceramics, glass, paints and coatings to chemicals, agriculture, food, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. In glazes and frits it acts as a flux and promotes the crystal formation behind matt and satin finishes. In paints and coatings it provides protection against ultraviolet radiation. In agriculture it is used as a source of zinc to correct soil deficiencies, and in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals for its properties on the skin.
