Zircon Industry Association 2018

This year, the Annual Congress of the Zircon Industry Association took place in Bangkok, Thailand during September the 6th and 7th. The Congress is the meeting point of the main companies that produce, transform and consume zirconium. Attendance at the event was an unprecedented success, with more than 100 delegates representing 80 organizations from 26 countries, including Mario Pilato Blat SA.
The topics ranged from the market dynamics of zirconium and its various derivatives, to emerging applications, the current R&D context and an expert macroeconomic vision of Asia presented by Andrew Staples (journalist of The Economist). The latter was of special interest for the projects that are being developed in the region and the possible impact of current geopolitical events on them.
